Pamplona - Spain
I enjoyed the very walkable and beautiful center of Pamplona, a famous city in the north of Spain. It is a very elegant town and it was a pleasure to have coffee in one of the cafés at “Plaza Castilla” or to drink an occasional beer in one of the many spectacular tapas bars one can easily find.

Pamplona is, of course, also the city of the 'Running of the Bulls' during the “San Fermín” festival, which is held every year in July. Additionally, Pamplona partly provides the backdrop for Ernest Hemingway’s novel “The sun also rises”. The author himself frequented the famous “Café Iruña”, which is still open at “Plaza Castilla”. Many tourists take snapshots of the Hemingway statue displayed at the counter of the café.
For all these reasons the center of the town has turned into a very photogenic place with stunning pictures of the 'Running of the Bulls', of the fiestas as well as many images of Hemingway being displayed in bars, restaurants, and showcases and this decoration just adds to the urban scenery.
